1. Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (tps505.com), apps, and services operated by TPS505 Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom.
By using our products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Products
TPS505 Ltd currently operates:
- Start Sequence – a sail-racing countdown timer app.
- MQTT Developer – a development tool using Google authentication and Firebase for data storage.
- A forthcoming kanban app (currently unreleased) with account, subscription, and task features.
3. Accounts
Some features require a registered account using Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Some products may include paid subscriptions, processed through Apple, RevenueCat, or Stripe. Payment terms, renewal periods, and refund rules are defined by the platform used. For Apple App Store payments, all billing and refunds are handled by Apple.
We may change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for unlawful or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with our software.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our services without permission.
- Upload malicious or harmful content.
Business and team use is permitted, but resale or sublicensing of the software is not allowed.
6. User content
Some products allow you to create or store personal or team data (e.g., kanban tasks). You retain ownership of your content. By using our services, you grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate and maintain the service. You may delete your content or account at any time.
7. Intellectual property
All intellectual property in our software, websites, and branding is owned by TPS505 Ltd. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use our products in accordance with these Terms.
8. Support and updates
We provide best-effort support via email and maintain our products with regular updates. We make no uptime guarantees or service-level commitments.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Our products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or profits
- Downtime or service interruptions
Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the previous 12 months, or £100, whichever is less.
10. Termination
You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, cause harm to others, or misuse our products. Data associated with terminated accounts may be deleted.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled in the UK courts.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced through a site or in-app notice, or by email if required. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
